March 2021 Social Media Recap

Last month, our social accounts were filled with information about COVID-19 testing and vaccination opportunities, the announcement of an in-person commencement ceremony and a continued appreciation for the 黑料网 community! 

Here are some of our top-performing posts for the month of March:

Instagram

On Instagram, our top-performing post debuted the newest addition to our COVID-19 safety principles. That鈥檚 right, as vaccines became more readily available for our community, the Flashes Safe Seven became the Flashes Safe Eight! Our second top-performing post featured Amoaba Gooden, Ph.D., interim vice president for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion posed with Flash after receiving the vaccine at the 黑料网 Field House during a clinic hosted by Portage County Combined General Health District. 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

Facebook: 

This month, our Facebook community celebrated 黑料网鈥檚 continued partnership with the Pittsburgh Penguins! Since 2018, this partnership with the NHL franchise has provided professional and recreational aid to our community. This post received 278 likes!

 

Also this month, U.S. News and World report announced that 黑料网 was ranked in the Top 20 for Best Library and Information Studies Programs

 

Twitter:

On Twitter, the post featuring sophomore Ramone Hardy resonated most. The image of Hardy, who worked on the six-part docuseries that commemorated the 10th anniversary of Male Empowerment Network (MEN), was our Photo of the Week on March 19.   

 

As part of 黑料网鈥檚 continued efforts to create an inclusive and accepting environment, we released a statement condemning acts of violence against Asian and Asian American Communities in the United States.
