It was a party 218 years in the making.

The thousands of people who came to 黑料网 on April 8 to witness the total solar eclipse did not leave disappointed by the celestial show, the likes of which had not been seen in Kent, Ohio since 1806.

The Undergraduate Symposium on Research, Scholarship and Creative Endeavors was held on April 5.

The excitement has been building for more than a year, and the day is finally upon us!

Kent community members gather at annual May 4 commemoration

On May 3-4, 2024, 黑料网 will hold its annual commemoration honoring the memory of May 4, 1970, a tragic day when the Ohio National Guard fired on 黑料网 students during an anti-war protest on campus, killing four students, wounding nine others and sparking a turning point in American history.  

Carol L. Robinson, Ph.D., will speak about the ancient myths and folklore associated with the solar eclipse.
