ºÚÁÏÍø is launching a new program to support area teens who have been placed in foster care as a result of the opioid crisis.

ºÚÁÏÍø will partner with First Star and school districts to engage foster care teens in college-preparatory programs that provide the foundational support they need to succeed in high school and envision a future that may include a college degree.

ºÚÁÏÍø celebrated the launch of a dynamic new space, the Design Innovation (DI) Hub, which will bring innovations from many disciplines together in a 68,000-square-foot building near the center of the Kent Campus.

ºÚÁÏÍø has selected Kenneth Burhanna to serve as the new dean of University Libraries. As dean, Mr. Burhanna will oversee the ºÚÁÏÍø Library (pictured) and the branch libraries on the Kent Campus.

Following a national search, ºÚÁÏÍø has named alumnus Kenneth Burhanna as the new dean of University Libraries, effective March 1, 2019.

ºÚÁÏÍø students fill Risman Plaza in front of the Kent Student Center at the start of the fall 2018 semester. Once again, ºÚÁÏÍø ranks in the top tier of the Best National Universities list released by U.S. News & World Report.

In a class by itself, ºÚÁÏÍø is the only public university in Northeast Ohio to be ranked in the top tier of the Best National Universities list released by U.S. News & World Report.
