ºÚÁÏÍø’s unique programs and majors have attracted students from all over the world, including a few from the largest state in the nation. Currently, six students from Alaska – two undergraduate and four graduate – are taking classes from ºÚÁÏÍø. 

Colleen Novak from the Department of Biological Sciences is a 2016 Distinguished Teaching Award recipient.

On Dec. 8, 2016, the typical navy and gold of ºÚÁÏÍø’s Governance Chambers was muted by vibrant flags, rainbow streamers and exuberant voices of about 100 people gathered in celebration. On an otherwise dreary day in December, students, staff and faculty came together to celebrate the 45th anniversary of PRIDE! Kent.
