    • Our walking tour includes Casa Rosada, Cabildo, Cathedral, Colegio Nacional Buenos Aires, and Manzana de las Luces. Behind the pink house, crossing the stairs that connect you with Puerto Madero, you will be able to appreciate the contrast of two eras: moving from the Colonial times to modern day via new architecture such as the Women's Bridge by Santiago Calatrava.
    • By bus we head to Parque Lezama where Pedro de Mendoza founded Buenos Aires in 1536. Lezama Park houses the National Historical Museum.
  • Evening Show

Immerse yourself in a rare space within the bustling city, where art and heritage, globally acclaimed productions, and age-old theatrical creations seamlessly coexist.

Day 6:

  • Meals included: Breakfast
  • Walking Tour of Graffiti Street Art
    • This walk through the working-class neighborhood of La Boca in the southern part of the city includes a wide variety of murals, which fuse the characteristics of graffiti and street art in Buenos Aires to reflect the social background of these neighborhoods.
  • Evening Show

Day 9:

    • With a typical Italian facade and large interior spaces, the Mercado de San Telmo opened in 1897 to cater to the needs of the new wave of immigrants arriving from Europe. The stalls have since been updated but the market conserves its original structure of metal columns and beams, so a visit is still like stepping back in time. There are stalls selling food, spices, antiques, crafts, records, and toys, making for an eclectic mix, while the coffee stall is said to have some of the best coffee in town.

Day 10:

  • Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch

    • Catalinas Sur Theater Group is a community art project founded by people from the neighborhood of La Boca, south of Buenos Aires. Their productions combine a high artistic quality with the depth of today’s social issues and the dynamics of collective and community work. For this reason, they have achieved great recognition, not only in Buenos Aires, but also in the rest of Argentina and in other parts of the world. For them, art is memory, identity, and celebration. Through this, they work to recover the value of our individual and collective stories and history.

“Over break, I studied abroad in Buenos Aires and experienced so many eye-opening cultural differences not only in the theatre, but also just in how passionate they all are; Passionate for theatre, history, and their country. Being a non-native speaker in their country also opened my eyes to people who may not speak English as a first language, but everyone was so patient there and filled with kindness. Buenos Aires is an experience I definitely will never forget.”
