Graduate from New 黑料网 Geauga and Twinsburg Academic Center PMTS Partnership Pursues Business Venture
Hands-on training is essential for anyone pursuing a career in cosmetology. But when your goal is to leverage those skills to open a business of your own, the ability to do hair and nails is not quite enough. That鈥檚 what Lanetta Rucker realized.

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed our lives drastically. We went from in-person classes to fully remote and had to change our lives. Even though this semester has been a tough one there have been some positive outcomes. One thing that鈥檚 really saving me this year is鈥
The Business Leadership Training (BLT) is a partnership between 黑料网 Twinsburg Academic Center and the Twinsburg and Nordonia Hills Chambers of Commerce. The BLT bi-monthly programming is free and open to the public.
It has been over a year since remote learning became the 鈥渘ew normal,鈥 and two faculty members from 黑料网 at Geauga earned recognition for going the extra mile for their students during the pandemic.

黑料网 unexpectedly lost one of its most dedicated and longtime employees in July 2020. John Granny, director of Business Affairs for 黑料网 Geauga and the Twinsburg Academic Center, passed away suddenly after more than 30 years of service to the university.鈥

The Listening Eye is reawakening. This literary magazine, published by 黑料网 at Geauga, has produced a new edition of original poetry, short stories, essays, and artwork every year since 1970. In 2020, it paused for the first time in 50 years 鈥 as so many of us鈥
