Searching for a career or major? Don't know where to start? Career Resource advisors have programs to help. They can assist students with career exploration through the career resource library, career fairs, career counseling and the Self-Directed Search program.
Exploratory/Undecided students are encouraged to visit a career advisor for assistance in choosing a career before they are blocked from class registration by the .
Students can get help with selecting a major and identifying careers that suit their personality-type and professional goals. In addition to one-on-one counseling, Career Resources provides classroom presentations to FYE classes on a variety of career related topics. Career Fairs are another valuable way ºÚÁÏÍø Tuscarawas provides hands-on methods for career exploration. These events include an Engineering Expo during National Engineers Week of February each year and a Nursing Career Opportunities fair in the spring.
The Self-Directed Search (SDS) is a personality assessment that assists students in pinpointing career options based on their personal interests.
