Featured Speaker Bryan Terrell Clark Event Still Being Held March 10

Update on March 10 at 4 p.m.

Our Featured Speaker event is STILL TAKING PLACE tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the 黑料网 Stark Conference Center. However, beginning tomorrow, 黑料网 has canceled face-to-face classes and events through April 12, 2020. This move aligns with Ohio Governor Mike DeWine's proactive approach to limit the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). There have been no confirmed cases in Stark County or on any of the 黑料网 campuses.


Singer-songwriter, philanthropist and actor, Bryan Terrell Clark is perhaps best known for his starring role as George Washington in the record-breaking hit 鈥淗amilton: An American Musical鈥 on Broadway. His TV credits include 鈥淓mpire鈥, 鈥淐SI: NY鈥 and 鈥淏lue Bloods鈥, and musically, he has performed with stars Brandy, Ciara and Michael Bubl茅. 

Clark is the final presenter in this year鈥檚 Featured Speakers Series lineup. He will speak at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 10. 

Now in its 29th year, the Featured Speakers Series is free and open to the public, but tickets are required and limited to two per person. 

Tickets for Clark鈥檚 presentation are available beginning at 7:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at the Main Hall information desk. Tickets will remain available, while supplies last, during regular business hours 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. 


Clark made his Broadway debut playing the iconic role of Marvin Gaye in 鈥淢otown: The Musical鈥, which received a 2014 Grammy Award nomination for Best Musical Theater Album. 

Clark is the co-founder of the philanthropic lifestyle brand inDEFINED, launched in 2017 to inspire and teach young people to use their voices to dispel constrictive labels in society. The online apparel brand supports arts education programs for at-risk youth.

Featured Speaker programs are held in Timken Great Hall at the 黑料网 at Stark Conference Center. Doors open at 6:45 p.m.
