Pan African Faculty and Staff Association (PAFSA) is proud to celebrate 50 years as an Employee Resource Group (ERG) at ºÚÁÏÍø. As a part of this milestone accomplishment, they are asking for nominations to honor employees who are making an impact on faculty, staff and students.
PAFSA’s charge 50 years ago remains the same: “Promote employment, participation in university affairs and the intellectual contributions of the Pan-African community toward the growth and success of ºÚÁÏÍø.†Recognizing our colleagues is paramount for continued enhancements and effective change – we encourage your nominations! The deadline to nominate is Monday, Feb. 27, 2023.

Criteria for Nominations
- Current employees of ºÚÁÏÍø must have served a minimum of 5 years
- Former employees of ºÚÁÏÍø must have served a minimum of 10 years
Process
PAFSA will recognize up to two current faculty/staff members from each job classification (Classified, Unclassified, Classified AFSCME, and Faculty) in each award category. Up to two former employees will be recognized in each award category.
Awards will be presented at the annual PAFSA awards ceremony on Apr. 5, 2023.
