Dan Painley

Daniel Painley graduated from Crestwood High School and currently attends the Geauga Campus as a Senior in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. He also serves as the President of the Geauga Gardeners student organization and is involved in scouting. He thoroughly enjoys gardening, hiking, and exercising in his spare time when he isn't working at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center. Dan shared, "I chose to attend the ºÚÁÏÍø Geauga Campus because the classes are smaller, leading to great relationships with the faculty on campus."

Mackenzie Schimpf
Mackenzie Schimpf graduated from Ledgemont High School and is a freshman in the Business Management Technology program at ºÚÁÏÍø Geauga – where she also works as a student employee. Mackenzie enjoys going for hikes, spending time outdoors in the sunshine, shopping, spending time with friends and family, and visiting the beach. When Mackenzie was asked why she chose to attend ºÚÁÏÍø Geauga, she said, "I love the closeness to home feel, along with the friendly environment. Going to a regional campus is great and allows for growth as much as attending the Kent Campus. Professors are more hands-on and understanding – they really want students to succeed!"

Abigail Gradomski

Abigail Gradomski attended Riverside High School and is a sophomore at the Geauga Campus in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. She is one of the campus's Rising Scholars Mentors: a group that helps first-generation students from area schools succeed after high school. Outside of Abigail's studies, she coaches competitive cheerleading, plays piano, and enjoys having fun with her family and friends. Abigail appreciates the Geauga Campus and Twinsburg Academic Center as the locations are close to home. Also, the smaller campus allows her to connect with more classmates in more intimate groups.

Dan, Mackenzie, and Abigail will walk in the ºÚÁÏÍø Homecoming Parade at the Kent Campus with other students on the Homecoming Court on Saturday, October 2, 2021. To view the schedule of events for ºÚÁÏÍø's Homecoming weekend, visit /homecoming.
