Police Services will host its fourth Coffee with a Cop event on Wed., Oct. 3, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Starbucks located in the Business Administration Building. This year, the event is paired with National Coffee with a Cop Day.
Police Services began hosting the outreach program two years ago as a way for the university community to get to know the police officers and the services the department provides. There is no cost and no registration necessary to attend.
“The event is always a huge success,” says Tricia Knoles, community resource officer for Police Services. “We are looking forward to chatting and getting to know our students, faculty and staff.”
Attendees will receive free coffee and a travel mug.
“This event is an opportunity for our community to get to know us a little bit better and for us to get to know our community,” says Officer Knoles.
