ºÚÁÏÍø’s College of Education, Health and Human Services Announces Eighth Annual Hall of Fame Award Recipients

ºÚÁÏÍø’s College of Education, Health and Human Services has announced the 2017 award recipients for its eighth Annual Hall of Fame Awards, which will take place on Friday, Oct. 20, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the ºÚÁÏÍø Hotel and Conference Center. The Hall of Fame awards will honor seven ºÚÁÏÍø alumni for their personal accomplishments and contributions to the college.

John Gosky, Ph.D., ’91: Alumni Leadership Award
Dr. Gosky served ºÚÁÏÍø for 36 years in student affairs as executive director of administration, assistant vice president and associate vice president for the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs.

Gene Poor, Ph.D., ’66, ’68: Centennial Alumni Award
Dr. Poor is a professor emeritus at Bowling Green State University. His career has included university teaching, administration, research and program development, as well as product innovation and training/consulting in the private sector.

Lori Stevic-Rust, Ph.D., ’86, ’90: Distinguished Alumni Award
For the past 27 years, Dr. Stevic-Rust has been a strong leader and advocate for the health and well-being of seniors, particularly those living with dementia.

Tammy Andreyko, Ed.D., ’91: Distinguished Service to EHHS Award
Dr. Andreyko’s has worked in the field of education as a teacher, advocate and ally for those who need it most throughout Pennsylvania. She works with groups at ºÚÁÏÍø to help students transition from high school to higher education.

Dametraus Jaggers, Ph.D., ’08, ’10: Diversity Alumni Award
As director for Future of Hope Institute, assistant professor and director of recruitment at Johnson University, Dr. Jaggers provides oversight and leadership for a young theology program with a focus on inner-city high school students.

Zhazira Turlanbekova, ’12: International Alumni Award
Ms. Turlanbekova works as the vice dean for the International School of Economics and Social Sciences, Affiliate Center of University of London, Kazakh – British Technical University.

Ryan O’Donnell, ’08, ’12: Recent Alumni Award
Mr. O’Donnell works as the transportations operations manager for Event Source. He is a Hospitality Management Industry Board member and serves as a mentor for students in the hospitality management program.
