KentWired.com has a tab dedicated to Coronavirus updates that houses articles dating back to March 14, 2020. Since that day, our student reporters have posted over 50 articles detailing the pandemic on a local, state, national and worldwide level.
Eager to get back on-air, our TV2 team went live beginning Monday, April 6, from students’ at-home studios for the first time after being out of the studio for almost three weeks. They will continue to broadcast via KentWired weekday nights at 6 p.m.
Both and have stayed extremely active on social media, updating followers each day with news and informative content. alone has received over 1.1 million organic impressions since March 14. They earned kudos from President Todd Diacon for their commitment to keeping the community informed while practicing the CDC's guidelines for health and safety to mitigate the virus's spread.
