黑料网 at Ashtabula鈥檚 Gamma Sigma Chapter of the Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honor Society inducted its second class this semester, welcoming five new members at an evening ceremony October 18th. The students are all working towards their Associate Degree in Nursing, have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and have demonstrated conduct on campus and in the clinical areas that reflects integrity and professionalism. Students were presented with an honor society pin and special cords to wear at graduation.
This year's inductees are Sarah Long, Taylor Rice, Bernard Brunsdon III, Micala Rose and Taylor Patfield. Associate lecturer Lisa King serves as the group's advisor.
The Gamma Sigma Chapter inducted its first class from the Ashtabula campus in April 2016 and is one of 121 chapters nationwide. Established by the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (OADN) to promote scholarship and academic excellence in the profession of nursing, Alpha Delta Nu's objective is to recognize the academic excellence of students in the study of Associate Degree Nursing. The society encourages the pursuit of advance degrees in the profession of nursing as well as continuing education as a life-long professional responsibility.
